Maryam Myika Day is an actress, writer, and Telly Award-winning producer. In 2020, Maryam joined the cast of THIS IS US, Season 4 playing the role of Doctor Meyer. Beginning her career with the role of the Buxom Chorine in the 2001 Tony Award Winning Broadway Revival of 42nd Street, she has had supporting roles in the feature film SMARTASS, starring Joey King of FX's Fargo, NBC’s Law and Order, FX’s hit show Rescue Me and many more.


As as screenwriter, Maryam has penned the untold story of Tammi Terrell for the upcoming biopic MOUNTAIN HIGH, starring Kat Graham and produced by super producer Suzanne DePasse. Maryam is the screenwriter for MarVista Entertainment’s Christmas 2021 slate with A SISTERLY CHRISTMAS. In 2018, her made-for-television-movie about Jennifer Jones, the first African American Radio City Music Hall Rockette, has been optioned by MarVista Entertainment as well. Currently she is working on a secret writing project of musical icon MAXWELL and recently joined the team at Panay Films//BLK OPS writing for client Microsoft and is developing an original idea with Concord Theatricals.
